This article explains how to request your own Perk Card — physical, virtual, or single-use — for your card admin to approve. Use it to submit a request from either the web app or the mobile app.
Caution: Your account admin must have enabled the feature for your company.
When you request a Perk Card, you can choose the type of card you need, the spend limit and other security features such as restrict the card to specific businesses (merchant categories).
For physical cards, you choose whether to ship the card to your home address or to the company address. For virtual or single-use cards, Perk automatically uses the company address. The address must be in a country where Perk Cards are available (EU and UK, and Switzerland) to complete your order.
Perk automatically sends your request to your card admin, who can check the details and edit the setup if needed before approving or rejecting it. When your request is approved or rejected, you'll get an email confirmation (or a push notification if you use the mobile app and have notifications turned on).
You can only have up to 5 open card requests at a time. If you try to request more cards, a warning message tells you that you've reached the limit. You can cancel a card request as long as your card admin hasn't approved it yet.
Once your request is approved, you can activate your card. Virtual cards are available instantly once activated. For physical cards, we'll ship it to the address you selected within 10 business days.
