You can use your Perk Card stored in Google Wallet everywhere Google Pay and contactless payments are accepted. Just look for the Google Pay Acceptance mark or contactless symbol. They’re located on the payment terminal screen or cash register at checkout.

There are three ways how you can pay with your Perk Card stored in Google Wallet:

Physical stores with a smartphone

When you’re ready to pay:

1. Unlock your phone.
2. Hold the back of it to the payment reader (you don‘t need to open the Google Wallet app).
3. Wait until the blue checkmark appears, which confirms payment.

Note: Tap to pay transactions under a certain amount may not require you to unlock your phone.

For added security, you should set up your phone to require unlocking to complete payments. You can do this in your NFC settings.

Physical stores with a smartwatch

When you’re ready to pay:

1. Hold the smartwatch up to the contactless payment reader until you hear a sound or feel vibration from your watch.
2. Tap Credit regardless of your type of card. as soon as the watch vibrates or you hear the beep.

Online stores and apps

When you’re ready to pay:

1. Choose Google Pay as your payment method or tap the Pay with Google Pay button.
2. Confirm the payment with your smartphone.
