Notify expense delegates about open tasks

Perk can send email notifications to your expense delegate to remind them about open tasks such as pending draft expenses.

Caution: Your company may or may not have been set up to allow Perk to send notifications. The frequency with which the notifications are sent is determined by company and may be daily, weekly or monthly.

As a submitter, you can activate notifications for your expense delegate in your profile.  To turn on expense delegate notifications in the web app: 

  1. Go to your Profile
  2. In the Preferences tab, scroll down to Notifications. 
  3. Turn on Sent to your expense delegates
  4. Click Save.

Alternatively, you can ask a people manager or account admin to enable notifications for you.

Since you can choose whether to send your expense delegate notifications or not, expense delegate notifications are sent separately to employee notifications. In other words, your expense delegate may receive two emails: one with their own open tasks, and another that contains your open tasks.

Note: Expense delegates don’t receive notifications about approvals that the person may need to perform. You set separate expense delegates to perform approvals as it may not be the same person. See Difference between delegates.
