Company addresses are used in several ways in Perk:
- Travel bookings: Displayed as a location on the map so employees can search for a hotel close to the office.
- Trip expenses: Use as the default starting point for manually created trip expenses.
- Mileage expenses: Use as the default starting point for mileage expenses.
- Card management: Use as the shipping address when ordering Perk Cards.
Having an office location registered makes it easier to assign users the right office address, as well as increases the ease with which your employees can submit expenses.
Perk support these types of addresses:
- addresses (e.g. Förrlibuckstrasse 181, 8005 Zürich)
- establishment (e.g. Zürich Airport (ZRH))
- regions (e.g. Westminster, London)
- cities (e.g. Zürich, Amsterdam, etc.)
- all (e.g. all of the search types)
Caution: Google lets users submit a point of interest (i.e. a named pin on a specific location in Google Maps. Points of interest are not considered valid addresses and hence are not supported by Perk.
However, the entity office location remains visible as an option in the address dropdown list for these functions.
The designated office location can be used as the default starting point for future trips and mileages.
Adding a company address
To add a new address to the address book:
- Go to Settings > Account > Addresses.
- Click New address.

Complete the form with the new address details:
- Address name
- Street address
- Country
- Building, unit, flooor
- Postcode /ZIP code
- City
- Type of address: Office or supplier
- Click Add address.
Note: Company admins can create new addresses and view all account addresses to prevent duplicates. However, they can only edit or delete addresses used exclusively by companies in their scope.
Setting office addresses for a company
Once you have added the address to the address book, you can select it in the company settings:
- Go to Settings > Account > Companies.
- Select the company and click the three dots to edit.
- In Registered address, select the company’s legal address.
- If your company has other office locations that you want to use as starting points for expenses, select these addresses in Key locations.
- Click Save.
Displaying a company address when booking a trip
If you want your travelers to see the address when searching, select the Display this address to your travelers option when creating the addresss. To learn more, see Searching hotels near a saved address.
Setting the office address for employees
You can determine the specific office location for employees in the profile. The office address set in the profile overrides the key locations as the default starting location for trips and mileages.
