Deutsche Bahn Business is a corporate program that provides enrolled companies with discounted, flexible business fares when booking trains in Germany
Once your company's BMIS number is activated on Perk, your bookings will count toward your annual spending quota, which can unlock further discounts over time
Discounts are unlocked once your company spends more than €3,000 per year on Deutsche Bahn. When this quota is met, travellers will see the discounts applied to the fare:
Flexpreis Business: A fully flexible business fare.
Get your DM BMIS number activated
Follow these steps to enrol in the Bahn Business program and activate your BMIS number on Perk:
- Go to the DB Business Program website
- On the registration page:
- Select Perk as the BTM system.
- If you are a Bahn Business customer, select Yes or No if you are registering for the first time.
- Get your BMIS Number. You’ll receive a DB email with your code.
- Send the BMIS number to your account manager, sales contact or implementation team, and they’ll complete the setup.
- Once your BMIS is active on Perk, the team will notify you.
Warning: Only BahnCard Business discounts are compatible with DB business fares on Perk.
If a traveller has a regular BahnCard (non-Business) linked to their profile, Perk will display a warning when they search for trains in Germany. If they proceed, they will see standard fares instead of business fares, and the booking will not count toward the company’s discount quota.
To benefit from business fares, travellers must use a BahnCard Business discount card.
How business fares appear on Perk
Once your BMIS number is activated, business fares will automatically appear in search results for Deutsche Bahn trains in Germany alongside standard fares.
Perk does not display a "corporate rate" tag for these fares, as they are business-specific fare types available to all enrolled companies. Look for the labels Sparpreis Business and Flexpreis Business to identify them.
