Perk distinguishes three distinct company card types. These can be assigned during the card configuration process by an account admin (Settings > Card settings > Company cards). The reason for the distinction between card types is due to necessary differences in the booking logic, making the booking process of transactions significantly easier for you.
The three company card types are:
- Lodge card: A lodge card is a company card that is shared among multiple people within a company, such as for the purpose of booking trips. These cards are displayed as an option for all employees.
- Privately billed card: A privately billed card is a company card that is billed to the employee, meaning the cardholder needs to initially pay for their expenses processed through this card privately and is reimbursed by the company afterwards.
- Company-funded card: A company-funded card means that the company cards are linked directly to a company account, which is directly charged for any payments made with this card.
