Before you try to add your Perk Card to Google Wallet, make sure that the following requirements are met:
- Google Pay is available for your Perk Card type (physical & virtual cards only) and country.
- Your Android phone needs to have Google Wallet installed. If not, you can install it from the Google Play store.
- Your Android phone needs to have a NFC chip to make contactless payments in shops and NFC needs to be turned on. To turn on NFC, check your phone settings.
- To make contactless payments with Google Wallet, you must use a screen lock on your device for your security.
- The newest version of the Perk Android App needs to be installed to add or activate the card from the Perk app.
Add card to Google Wallet manually
- Open your Google Wallet app.
- Select Add to Wallet and choose Payment card.
- Select New credit or debit card.
- Take a picture of your Perk Card or enter your card information manually.
To add a card in the Netherlands, on your phone, turn on NFC. When prompted, tap your card to the back of your phone. - Accept the terms and conditions.
- If you’re asked to verify your payment method, choose one of the options to activate the card and follow the on-screen instructions:
- via SMS code to your mobile number
- using the Perk App on your phone
You can use your Perk Card with Google Pay in any country that supports Google Pay.
