At times, a card transaction may be automatically or manually matched to the wrong expense report if the dates, amounts or business purpose involved create ambiguity. You can easily fix any mismatches in either the mobile app or the web app.
To correct an incorrect matching, go to Spend > Corporate cards if you’re using the web app, or the Spend > Cards if you’re using the mobile app.
If you have multiple company cards, select the one the transaction occurred on in the Company card field. In the overview, you see all transactions made with that company card.
Find and click on the transaction that you want to fix the matching for. You can review the expense report by clicking Preview. If you are sure you want to unmatch the transaction and the expense report, select Clear match.
The transaction is now unmatched from the expense report. You can choose to:
- Match it with another expense report
- Upload a new receipt
- Create a no-receipt expense
- Mark as private expense
If you don't want to manually match it, just close the transaction and Perk tries to match it to newly submitted expense reports.
