Deferred payments are a payment option only available for hotel bookings. For eligible hotels, you won't be charged when the trip is booked. Perk will typically charge you seven days after the traveler checks out of the hotel.
This allows Perk to confirm the amount the hotel charged before charging you. Once we've confirmed the amount, an invoice will be issued according to your usual billing cycle and payment terms.
Customers in the UKI and the DACH region are eligible for deferred payments on hotel bookings if they meet specific requirements. For more information, contact your account manager.
Deferred payments and reporting
If you have deferred payment enabled, you can track future payments for these bookings on the Analyze page. This allows you to forecast cash flow, track committed spending, and distinguish between paid and deferred bookings.
You can access information about deferred payments and create custom reports on the Reporting homepage, Travel spend dashboard, and Travel insights dashboards.
