Use filter recommendations matched to your travel history

Filter recommendations in Perk surface the hotel filters you use most often, so you don’t have to recreate the same star rating, review score, and loyalty program preferences every time you search. Use this article to see where recommendations come from and how to apply them.

Finding your recommended filters

Filter recommendations appear in the Stays filters panel. Open All filters on a Stays search results page and Perk shows a Recommended for you section at the top, with filters matched to your selections from previous bookings, so you don't have to find and reapply them from the full filter list.

Filter recommendations are a suggestion, not autofill. Select as many or as few as you like, or ignore the section completely and filter the way you always have.

Where recommendations come from

Perk ranks your recommended filters using three signals today:

  • Your favorites — any filter you've marked as a favorite.
  • Your loyalty programs — the valid loyalty programs on your profile, shown as filters you can apply directly.
  • Filters you use most — the filters you select most across all your bookings, which get sharper the more you travel.

Recommendations are based on your own profile and preferences. Perk doesn't use other travelers' filters or preferences to shape what's recommended for you.

Note: Recommended filters aren’t available yet when booking on behalf of someone else.
