Perk’s Travel Disruption Advisories page gives you real-time updates on major travel disruptions that could affect travelers, straight from Perk’s incident management team. 

In short: subscribe to the page, and Perk lets you know about major incidents—what happened and what travelers should do—then keeps that guidance updated until the incident is resolved.

What counts as a travel disruption

Travel Disruption Advisories cover large-scale events that may affect many travelers at the same time. They don't include routine issues such as an individual delayed or canceled flight. Instead, they focus on significant events such as airline strikes, airport operational disruptions, severe weather, political unrest, and other incidents that may impact travel.

What each advisory tells you

Each advisory explains:

• What happened
• Who's affected
• What travelers should do

As the situation changes, we update the advisory with the latest information, including newly affected dates, routes, destinations, and any changes to the recommended guidance.

Our team monitors travel disruptions and supports affected travelers until the disruption is resolved. 

Note: If your trip is affected by a travel disruption and you've received an email from us, follow the instructions in the email for the next steps. The email includes the appropriate communication guidance based on your departure date.

Reading the status page

The travel disruption advisories page always shows one of two banners at the top:

• A green We’re fully operational banner means Perk isn't aware of any issues affecting travel services.
  
• A yellow We’re currently experiencing issues banner means at least one active incident is affecting travel.
  

Below the banner, each incident shows an affected components timeline. Under that, an updates log lists every update in order, from when the incident was identified to when it's resolved.

Subscribing to updates

To subscribe, select Subscribe to updates on the Travel Disruption Advisories page and follow the prompts to add your email address. You'll receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription. Be sure to confirm it to start receiving updates.
