Integrate Crisis24 with Perk

The Crisis24 integration (formerly WorldAware) is a duty of care partner connection that shows your employees’ travel data on the Crisis24 platform. Use it to give your travelers up-to-date information on potential travel risks.

Only account admins and developers can perform this task.

In short: you turn on the Crisis24 integration once in Perk, and Perk sends trip and booking data to Crisis24 for trips booked from then on. You don’t need to send files or set up any data feeds.

How the Crisis24 integration works

The Crisis24 integration in Perk connects your Perk account to Crisis24, a risk management partner, so Crisis24 can read your company’s trip and booking data. When you turn it on, Perk sends new trip data to Crisis24 as travelers book. You need only your Crisis24 credentials to connect.

Note: Data flows one way, from Perk to Crisis24. Risk alerts and traveler tracking happen on the Crisis24 platform, and nothing from Crisis24 comes back into Perk.

Before you start

Before you turn on the Crisis24 integration in Perk, make sure you have the account admin or developer role in Perk and an admin role in Crisis24. Have your Crisis24 credentials ready.

Warning: The person who turns on the integration needs the account admin or developer role in Perk and an admin role in Crisis24. If someone without these roles turns it on, the connection may fail with a 403 error, and someone with the right roles needs to turn it on again.

Enable the Crisis24 integration

The Crisis24 integration is turned on from the Integrations page in your Perk account settings. To connect it:

  1. In Perk, go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Select Crisis24.
  3. Select Enable.
  4. Sign in with your Crisis24 credentials and follow the prompts to finish connecting.
Note: If you don’t see the Crisis24 card, reach out to your account manager.

What data is shared with Crisis24

Once you turn on the Crisis24 integration, Perk shares the trips of all employees in your account with Crisis24. Crisis24 asks for read-only access to expenses, trips, bookings, and users. The data includes:

  • Traveler name, email, and user ID (personally identifiable information, or PII)
  • Trip name
  • Start and end dates and times
  • Trip status
  • Start and end locations
  • Booking type and booking status
  • Booking reference (passenger name record, or PNR)
  • Legs and segments
  • Booker

For each trip, Crisis24 retrieves the traveler details from Perk.

Limitations

The Crisis24 integration in Perk sends only trips that are booked after you turn it on, and Perk doesn’t add earlier trips later.

Caution: Perk sends only trips booked after you turn on the integration. To send an earlier trip, open the trip in Perk, select Share trip, and enter the Crisis24 trip-data email address that Crisis24 gives you (it looks like xxx@tripdata.crisis24.com).
