Understanding hotel extras budget

Your company can set a hotel extras budget and choose which extras to cover. When you choose a rate that includes it, a budget is made available on your Perk virtual card to pay for those extras. After check-out, your company is only charged for what you actually use, and available extras may vary by hotel.

The following extras and allowances can be selected, per night, per traveler:

  • Meals: The company can decide the amount and add exceptions
  • Breakfast: 30 GBP
  • Parking: 15 GBP
  • Wi-Fi: 20 GBP
  • City Tax: 15 GBP

Note: Currently, this option is only available at certain hotels in the UK and Ireland.

Find hotels where you can use it 

When you are searching for stays under the Work trip essentials filter, click on Hotel extras budget.


 

You’ll see the Hotel Extras Budget tag on the hotels where you can use your allowance.


 

You can find more information about the extras by clicking See availability.


 

If your selected hotel includes the extras budget, we’ll provide you with Information about the prepaid extras in the pre-arrival email. You’ll have access to a virtual credit card to pay for the extras.
