Only account admins and company admins can perform this task.
Setting the saved address for trips and mileage helps employees save time on future trips, as it can serve as the default starting point for trip expenses and mileage claims.
This setting lets you choose the default departure and arrival location proposed when creating trips and mileage expenses. It takes the address from the person's profile.
You can select one of the following options:
- Office (default): Uses the office address set up in the person's profile.
- Home address (user profile): Uses the home address set in the person's profile as a departure location.
- Home address (read-only): Uses the home address set in the person's profile, but doesn’t allow them to change the departure location.
Saved addresses for trips and mileage are set for each company. If you have more than one company or entity, you need them individually.
To set the saved addresses for trips and mileage:
- Go to Settings > Account > Companies.
- On the company that you want to update, click the three dots and select Open details.
- Under Spend setting, click View spend setting.
- Go to Enable trips and make sure it's toggled.
- Under Location settings, go to Saved addresses for trips and mileage and select one of the options from the drop-down list.
