Your company is upgrading from Yokoy to Perk. As part of this upgrade, your existing Yokoy Card will be replaced by a new Perk Card. Use this article to understand what's changing about your card, what stays the same, and what you need to do to keep using your card without any gaps.
What's changing
Your Perk Card replaces your Yokoy Card as part of the upgrade to Perk. This applies to both physical and virtual cards, and your new card gets its own card number, expiry date, CVC, and PIN, separate from your old Yokoy Card.
Before you can use your new Perk Card, you'll need to activate it, just as you did with your Yokoy Card. Physical cards only ship after you activate them, so there's no risk of an unused card sitting with you before it's ready. Once you activate a virtual card, it's ready to use right away for online payments, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
To learn more, see Activate your Perk Card.
What stays the same
Your Yokoy Card keeps working as normal while your company completes the switch to Perk Cards. You don't need to do anything differently with it in the meantime.
Day-to-day card management also stays the same. You can still view your card and its transactions, freeze and unfreeze it, view its details, and report it as lost or stolen, the same way you always have.
Note: No action is needed on your side for your existing Yokoy Card. It works as normal until your company terminates it.
What you need to do
When your new Perk Card arrives, follow the activation instructions to get it ready to use. For the full steps, see Activate your Perk Card.
Caution: Make sure to update any recurring subscriptions tied to your old Yokoy Card number. Once your Yokoy Card is terminated, payments linked to it will stop going through.
Once your Perk Card is activated, use it for all your future payments instead of your Yokoy Card.
What happens to your old card
Your Yokoy Card keeps working until your company terminates it. Your company will let you know when your Yokoy Card stops working, so you can plan ahead and switch over to your Perk Card without any disruption.
Note: When your Yokoy Card is terminated, its transaction and expense history isn't deleted. Your data stays in place, the same as it would for any card that expires or is terminated.
