Perk Cards need a valid company address before you can order or issue any cards. Use this article to add and manage the addresses your company uses for card delivery.
All Perk Card accounts must have at least one address available to use for card delivery. This address is used to ship physical cards and to register virtual and single-use cards. A registered address or key location you've already set up in Settings > Account > Companies isn't used for Perk Cards—you set up card addresses separately, as described below.
You can also let people ship Perk Cards to their own home address instead of a company address. To learn more, see Order Perk Cards and Request a Perk Card.
Adding an office address
Perk Cards take their company addresses from your company's address book, not from a separate card settings panel.
To add an address your company can use for card delivery:
- Go to Settings > Account > Addresses.
- Click Add address.
-
Set Type of address to Office.
Caution: Addresses set to Supplier don't appear as card delivery options.
- Enter a description (for example, a site or office name) so you can tell addresses apart. This is especially useful if you have several offices within the same legal entity.
- Start typing the street address and choose the matching result from the autocomplete suggestions.
- Turn on Display this address to your travelers.
- Click Add Address to save it.
Note: The street address must come from the autocomplete suggestions. If you type an address manually, or edit the street or postal code after selecting it, Perk can't validate the address and it won't appear as a delivery option. If your address doesn't come up in autocomplete, choose the closest match and add the exact details in the address's optional fields.
Caution: If you leave Display this address to your travelers turned off, the address won't appear in the office address list when ordering or requesting cards.
You can add as many office addresses as your company needs. Each one must be a complete, valid physical address in a country where Perk Cards are available. Incomplete addresses, PO boxes, and addresses in countries Perk Cards doesn't support aren't allowed. If you enter an address in an unsupported country, Perk shows a warning explaining that cards can't be ordered for that location.
To learn more, see Why can't I ship the card to my country? You can edit or remove an address at any time from Settings > Account > Addresses.
How Perk picks the office address for card delivery
When someone orders or requests a physical card, they choose between an office address and a home address in the card logistics step. If your company has more than one office address, Perk automatically selects the first one whose country is supported for card delivery, and the person can change the selection from the dropdown before continuing. There's no separate "default" address to set for cards—Perk always chooses from the same office addresses you manage in Settings > Account > Addresses.
Deliver to home addresses
When ordering cards, you can choose to deliver to cardholders' home addresses instead of an office address.
Perk automatically takes the cardholder's home address from their profile, if they have one saved. If their profile doesn't have an address, you can enter one manually or ship to an office address instead.
When requesting a card, people can choose to ship to their own home address instead of an office address. As the card admin who approves card requests, you can always change this and select one of your company's office addresses instead, if needed.
