Set up the addresses for your Perk Card account

Card admins can perform this task.

As the card admin for your company‘s Perk Cards, you first need to set up the account so you can order new cards or let people request their own cards.

All Perk Card accounts must have at least one associated address. This address is associated with the shipping of physical cards and the registration of virtual and single use cards. Although you may have already set up a registered address or key locations in Settings > Account > Companies, this address is not used for Perk Cards.

Warning: You cannot order Perk cards until you have set an address for the company.

You can set up a default address for your company. You can add up to five additional addresses, as appropriate. You can also change the default address that Perk proposes as the company address during the card ordering process.

You must enter a complete address, including street name and number, and postal/ZIP code. Incomplete addresses or addresses in countries not supported by Perk Cards are not allowed.

In addition, you can allow people to ship Perk Cards to their home addresses.

Setting a default company address

To determine the default address proposed when ordering cards, go to Finance > Card management > Corporate cards. Click Actions (three dots) to view the General settings. In this panel, you can manage addresses and card notifications.

By default, you should see the addresses set up as your office locations. To add a new address, click Add company address. You must enter the company name and the company address.

The company name may or may not be your legal entity name. Therefore, you can choose the most suitable company name. For example, you may have different sites within the legal entity that you want to identify separately.

Addresses must be valid physical addresses. Points of reference or PO boxes are not supported. A warning message appears if you enter an invalid country. The address must be in a country where Perk Cards are available such as certain EU countries, the UK, and Switzerland.

You can add up to five addresses as company addresses. However, only one can be chosen as the default address. This address is used as a fallback when there isn’t a home address set in a person’s profile. Additional addresses appear in the address selector in the card logistics step. To change the default address, click Default off button. This makes the selected address the default address.

You can remove addresses by clicking on the trash icon.

Shipping to home addresses

When ordering cards, you can choose to ship to cardholders‘ home addresses.

Caution: It is the company’s responsibility to ensure the user‘s address is correct. Perk accepts no liability for cards shipped to an incorrect user address.

Perk automatically takes the cardholder’s home address from their profile (if it exists). If the profile doesn‘t contain an address, Perk uses the default company address as a fallback or allows you to enter the address manually.

When requesting a card, people can choose to ship to their home address instead of the company address. However, as card admin who approves card requests, you can always select one of the company’s default addresses, if required.
