Payment profiles manage how your company pays Perk for services and expenses. They define payment methods, billing schedules, currencies, and invoicing preferences.
- Go to Settings > Account > Payment profiles.
- Click Create payment profile.
- Enter the card details and the cardholder's address.
- Under Payment authorizer, select the people who have access to the mobile phone associated with the credit card in case a verification code is required. This person should be an account admin or approver.
- Check the box to give your consent for Perk to charge your payment method. The card will be saved for future use.
- Click Continue.
- Choose the company, select who can use the payment profile, and click Continue.
- Enter the billing information and click Save.
Note: Company admins can assign payment authorizers from all people in the entire account; not only from their own company.
Your bank might require authorization using two-factor authentication to complete the registration of your card. If it does, follow the instructions on Understanding two-factor authentication.
Note: Perk only uses saved payment methods for the specific usage included in our Terms and Conditions. This includes trip bookings, modifications, and fees for subscriptions that you sign up for.
Details of the cards are shared with our payment processors, such as Stripe.
Create a payment profile directly on one of your companies
- Go to Account Settings > Account > Companies.
- Select the company you want to add the payment profile to.
- Click New payment profile. If you’ve already added a payment profile, click Manage payment profiles and then Create payment profile.
Your bank might require authorization using 2-factor authentication to complete the registration of your card. If it does, follow the instructions on Understanding two-factor authentication.
Failed card registration
If your card registration fails, ensure that all the details you entered match the card details.
For example, check that the address and postcode registered to the card match the ones you entered, and that the CVC is the same as the one on the card.
Sometimes, the bank or card issuer rejects the registration, and you'll need to contact them directly to resolve the issue.
