What's New in Perk Events: If you previously enjoyed using our Events tab, or working with our MICE team, you’ll love booking events on Perk. It's free to access, and consolidates all your event planning and group travel needs into one easy-to-use platform.
- In the new Perk Events platform, you can still create events for any number of people, with the same capabilities you love, but now there's a whole lot more.
- To create an event on Perk, go to the Events page and click Create Event.
- When there are 9 or more travelers in a hotel booking, you need to start a Group Booking that is handled by our team of group travel and event experts.

Event dashboard and settings
The Event Dashboard is your new hub for group bookings and event management. As the admin of this event, you have four tabs: Dashboard, Bookings, Participants, and Settings.
Dashboard tab
- Your home page, general event information, and event specialist contacts, if you are using group bookings.
- Preview event: You’ll see the Preview event button in the top right. This lets you see how the event page appears to your invitees.
Bookings tab
- Where you can request and manage all group bookings or view/manage individual bookings associated with this event.
- Toggle between both booking types in top right by clicking Group bookings and Individual bookings.
Participants tab
This tab is the home for all RSVP tracking and Event Communications. You can do a lot more in this tab than you think:
- Send surveys to invitees: Registration form, feedback form, lunch orders and custom forms.
- Build a custom event agenda: Which participants can either automatically be added to if they RSVP, or they get to choose their events.
- Send custom communications to a variety of audiences: Select groups of recipients to message. You can choose from all confirmed attendees or from specific attendees based on survey responses. For example, a message just to vegetarians. This gives you complete communication flexibility.
- View responses to previously sent surveys or download participant data and responses.
Settings tab
Change your event name or dates, add an image, delete your event, or set a specific custom field to tag all the event spend
Landing page
You can build your own custom landing page by clicking Build event page in the top right. This page will be accessible to the attendees and can contain text, images, maps, travel bookings, surveys, and the agenda.
Participants can confirm their attendance, check event information, and take any necessary actions, such as filling in forms, booking travel, or assigning themselves a room.
Letting participants see each other's trips: You can toggle this on when you are building the Event landing page. After the section is created and visible, you will see a toggle that publishes all event bookings for the participants.
Participants will then see on the landing page not only their bookings but also their colleagues' bookings.
Requesting travel for your event
Go to the Bookings tab and toggle between Group bookings and Individual bookings to see all bookings associated with your event.
Group bookings
To request a group hotel booking for 9 or more rooms or a group flight booking for 10+ travelers, under Manage bookings, click Stays or Flights.
Hotel matching tool
You now have access to a new, intelligent hotel matching tool, which will help you save significant time by reducing back-and-forth with hotels. We've automated reach-outs and requests for quotes from hotels and venues by leveraging our matching tools.
How it works: Receive customized hotel quotes for your group automatically sourced for you, based on your specific requirements. Once you select the perfect property and rate and complete the final checks with your assigned Perk event specialist, attendees can add themselves to bookings on the platform.
Individual bookings
You may want to have your team book their individual flights to this event. To see individual bookings associated with your event as an account admin, you can go to Individual bookings and next to Transportation, click View.
Booking group travel tips
There are three ways to manage the travel for your event:

- You also get a dedicated Perk group bookings and event specialist to help you find and secure everything you might need for your event.
- You can choose if participants can book their own flights, or you can manage flight group bookings if you have more than 10 travelers on the same route.
Participants manage their own bookings
- This is perfect for smaller groups where you want participants to book their own stays and flights.
A hybrid of the two above
- The most common example is booking a group hotel through our team, but having travelers book their own flights to the event using Perk.
Other popular functionality in our new events platform
- Track attendees: See who is attending the event and who has yet to respond to the invitation.
- Monitor arrival and departure times: Get an overview of how attendees will travel to the event and where they are staying.
- Send messages and reminders: On the event page, go to the Participants tab, click Send updates. You can send a message to all attendees or remind those who haven't booked their travel yet.
- Track costs: On the event page, go to the Settings tab and under Track costs, select one or multiple options. The selected options will be added to all trips connected to this event and will help you with reporting and budget tracking.
- Download a participant list: Download a list of all attendees, including information on who is attending or not. Head to the Participants tab, click Download participant data.
- Dedicated event landing page: You can create and edit the event landing page to include all the information that attendees need to know. You can add additional sections, an event description, and a participant registration form.
- Registration and feedback forms: Under the Participants tab, click View surveys, and add questions to the relevant form or create a new form. You can monitor and download responses by selecting Answers in the top right of the page, then filtering by your active forms.
- Manage invites: You can invite registered Perk platform participants, including guests. You can import them from Perk, individually invite participants and send them an email, or upload them from a CSV file. You can also customize the invite email that participants will receive.
- Create an agenda: You can add activities to the agenda and allocate participants to specific events.
